  I had a total hip replacement with Michael in December 2015. I only now decided to write a review, basically, because I was not as "internet literate" as I am now. It is well known that Michael is an expert in his field of orthopaedic surgery. I know an orthopaedic surgeon who chose Michael to perform surgery on his wife and this says a lot. Michael is very hard working in both the public and private hospital system. Hip replacements, generally, are not difficult procedures but, if there is a complication, you can be sure Michael has seen it. I found he had a quirky sense of humour and was always very approachable. In fact, he would respond to my bothersome emails very promptly. There are probably plenty of good orthopaedic surgeons in Sydney but Michael Solomon should be one on your short list if you are contemplating hip or knee surgery.

  Thanks Dr. Solomon for taking me on with short notice to replace my left hip that was shot. The surgeon I was going with who is highly regarded and a great man couldn't get me in before Xmas, so you rang me on a Tuesday with a vacancy the next day. Little did I know that I got the best in the business. Two months later I have my life back. See you soon to do the right one.

  I had my right hip replaced and got my life back. I went skiing 3 months later in Japan with the encouragement of Dr. Solomon and had a fantastic time skiing at a good level and I feel that I will only get stronger with more time (age 71). PS I didn't go past the danger sign!

  Best surgeon ever. I’ve had A periacetabular osteotomy on my left hip with Dr. Solomon. The procedure is very difficult and it’s up to the surgeon to decide if you’re a good candidate for it. He was very concise and confident that the PAO was the right thing for me and I could not be more grateful. While in hospital, he visited every day and sometimes twice a day. I cannot recommend him enough. His team is also very responsive and caring.

  Dr. Solomon replaced my left hip approximately 2 1/2years ago. No more pain two weeks after operation, my legs are even and the scar has almost disappeared. Terrific surgeon, I could not recommend more highly.

  I had double hip replacements 5 weeks ago to the day. Driving within a week, walking normally after 2 weeks and played 18 holes of golf today (with cart) and have zero pain. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Michael Solomon more highly. From the skill of his surgery to his bed manner is outstanding! Exceeded my expectations! I look forward to surfing again in the coming months.

  Dr. Solomon performed an ACL surgery to our son's knee in May. Operation 'perfection'. Now 3 months later - with physiotherapy down to x1 days/week from x3 days/week - & a couple of check ups with Dr. Solomon - he's back to normal. He's truly a genuine caring friendly passionate professional in his field - and we certainly were very fortunate to have our son in his care. Anyone seeking a professional specialist for their 'knees' look no further - highly recommend him - he can operate with his eyes shut - he's that good. Thank you to Dr. Solomon & All his Team (prior in Childrens Peadiactrics - on the day of the surgery including the Anathesiast Richard - and after surgery) - phenomenal Team. Certainly made the antagonizing wait much less stressful for both our son and us.

  Dr. Solomon replaced my right hip about 2.5 mths ago. I am.pain free and have my life back. Had the anterior approach. Walked without a crutch by week six. He is an amazing surgeon. He gives you all the information upfront in writing . Takes away the stress and guesswork from the pre op.😊. 2.5 mths post the surgery i climed a hill. In Coffs. Exhilarating!
